One must register as a customer to avail oneself of all of Aurora’s website services. Aurora Mortgage has had a fair share of complaints lately. The Ripoff report lists 77 complaints on its pages alone. Lawsuits regarding divorce proceedings and mortgage loans have been brought against the company, accusing them of engaging in knowingly illegal business practices in attempts to foreclose on a property. Others complain of being lied to or having false fees applied to their loans in an attempt to harm their personal credit status. More complaints exist about Aurora Loan Services attempting to fraudulently collect back taxes on loans and mortgages, despite records showing that they are not allowed to perform these types of collections. There are far too many complaints against this company, which claims to use the latest business software applications to process customer complaints. The quick and satisfactory resolution of serious customer grievances does not seem to be a priority of Aurora Mortgage, nor does it seem to be living up to its claim of placing the clients’ goals first.
