Capital Mortgage Company is an extremely small mortgage brokerage located in Longview, Texas.  It is owned and operated by Alan and Jeanette Woods, with Jeanette acting as president.  The business began in October of 1996 an has recently added an Internet presence to their repertoire.  They do not, as yet, accept applications online.  Jeanette Woods has over 15 years experience in mortgage lending and several years in banking.  She is licensed as a Mortgage Broker with the Texas Savings and Loan Department in Austin, Texas.  Capital Mortgage company employs one other worker.  Donna Roberts is a Mortgage Loan Officer and has three years lending experience with Capital Mortgage Company.  Donna is also licensed as a mortgage broker with the Texas Savings and Loan Department in Austin, Texas.

Despite not taking Internet applications, Capital Mortgage Company has some very useful items on their website.  They have a vast glossary of mortgage terms to aid their customers in understanding financial jargon.  Several sets of calculators are included which will even tell the customer how much total interest he/she will pay over the life of the loan.  (It’s disheartening!)   Capital Mortgage informs the consumer as to exactly which documents are necessary to start the loan application process for both self-employed and those employed by others.  Once the customer has applied for a loan he/she may track his/her interest rate through Capital Mortgage’s handy rate tracker.
