Georgia Mortgages (GA)
The Georgia Board of Realtors reports that the real estate market is invigorated in Georgia, after several years in the doldrums. Inventory of houses on the market is healthy, higher than since the early 90’s. "Overall market conditions for Atlanta remain strong and vibrant for several different sectors including first-time homebuyers, buyers ‘moving-up’ to the $200-$350K price range, and investors seeking to capitalize on historically low interest rates," says Realtor Mardell Culley. Mortgage rates fell slightly in early April, below average rates of six months ago, making this a good time to purchase or re-finance a home in Georgia.
